Where did you go for the wiring diagram info, I have some questions needed answered for this standalone wiring? Like how the LFX dash harness connects to the engine harness, what can a get rid of in the dash harness etc...?

Unfortunately I had to put it on the back burner because my business was unbelievable busy this summer, so my plan is to do one more engine test with the LFX engine plugged into the car and verify functions, then my plan will be to install the set-up into the LLT sometime this winter. I realize it is slow going but business and making money comes first, then my toy. I am in no rush and want to be as sure as I can that this will work properly. My LLT is a daily driver and I cannot afford to have it down for any extended period. So that is my plan if everything works out accordingly.

You are very generous! I am hoping for another successful LFX test and resolution to a few DIC's. As soon as business slows, I will be back on it.

Still on the twin turbo LLT engine. I am planning on installing the LFX engine sometime in early 2017. My business has been too busy for me to devote time to my project but will be slowing soon. I will keep you posted.

For those interested in an oil filter adapter, I have found one GM uses on an Impala. Attached are pictures and part numbers. I have not confirmed that it clears everything in the lower engine compartment but it does bolt up to the LFX engine. This way you can use a cooler and auxiliary filter. You must check that there is no obstruction in your particular application. You can find these adapters on Ebay at times.
