Ok, I read the Motortrend article and the way I read it, they were saying that the no-lift shift is just a mechanism for launch control...or is it applied all the time?? Either way, I'm not sure I would mind it really...after seeing the refreshed Cobolt and the new turbo'd engine...I think I'd have to add that to my "cars I'll consider, if I can't afford the new Camaro" list. Who knows...

Watch out the new SS (due out next month) is still FWD, but it has a better power to weight ratio than your Charger. It also has a stick shift and optional limited slip.

I think it is just marketing speak for a rev limiter that kicks in lower in neutral or when you have your foot on the clutch. I had hoped it acted through the electronic throttle control, but this C&D article makes it sound like the ECM is pulling timing and/or fuel.
