To the entire Camaro team, GM "friends" of the Camaro, and GM in general:

Thank you for pulling off the nearly impossible.
Thank you for putting your heart, passion and soul into this car for us.
Thank you for your patience with all of us fanatics.
Thank you for staying the course.
Thank you for making one hell of a Camaro.

First, Mr. Oppenheiser, thanks for listening and taking what we enthusiasts have had to say into consideration, and for then making real changes based on that input to produce a Camaro even closer to perfection for each of us!
Next, congratulations! The pride you feel must almost be overwhelming, but that's as it should be. This is a great achievement for the you and the GM family. ENJOY!!!

Whatever the "exciting news" is, Al said it would be from senior leadership. So, it might not be the website or new MPG numbers; that's press release info there. I'd look for something else, maybe another post here at Camaro5?

No, wait. Found this:
"Today the first 2010 Chevrolet Camaros roll off the assembly line at GM's assembly plant in Oshawa, Ontario. As GM North America Vice President, Ed Peper was exclaiming his excitement on the company's blog, he revealed that the V-6 model's EPA highway rating of 29 mpg."
There's the senior leadership announcement, I bet

I appreciate your kind words and the efforts that the entire GM team has showed on this project. This is the type of commitment that will help endure the US automakers through these tough times.

THANK YOU for bringing this US legacy back and don't stop here, take this enthusiasm to the rest of GM. GOOD JOB to all!
