I think this photo op was staged. Mostly because the poster at the other forum has mearly one post and is "offering" these in public forum as "just a gearhead". To me, this wasn't some joe just driving around and happened to see and photog the camo cars. Video is right next to the still image button on your phone.

Nuff of that though.

It is obvious the weight losses will be attributed to chevy engineers pulling in the corners and side body panels in a smoother and tighter look. The rear roofline has hidden the rounded edges on all for corners as well as the front window area. We will see a sleeker less boxy Camaro when unveiled finally. Chevy seems to be trying to capture the gen 5 look and feel while losing about 400 pounds. My worry is the attempt may create a mustang trim with a distinctive Camaro nose and tail.

But yes, this promotional photo op was staged. Even the poster at motortrend knows this. He wouldn't have posted them here directly. Let the public feel like they discovered the pics. Looks good.

I am not belittling the source. I am just realizing that it is highly likely.

I mean, let us see a spy VIDEO !! Or will that be too revealing.

Agree.. If outside doesn't evolve enough away from current design why would it beat the current Ford who's outselling camaro substantially..

The mustang evolved and is getting a sales spurt, when the new evolved camaro comes out, it too, will get sales spurt. It will do just fine.

I think GM has gotten all they can squeeze out of the 5th Gen. Mustang is finally leading in the month of January with a new body style. I mean jeez the 5th Gen has fought 3 different Mustangs plus a Mustang refresh..

You mean those are all different models? Could have fooled me. I don't really follow Mustang's other than the monthly sales chart.
