I went with the Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS's on mine. What they call an "Ultra High Performance All Season". 295/30R20 in the front and stock size 305/30R20 in the rear. No rubbing in the front with the wider tire and they seem pretty grippy to me. I don't track my car but I have still been able to take local long sweeping highway ramps at any speed comfortably, and their wet traction is night and day compared to the stock goodyear supercars.

I've been driving in the mid to low 30's in the rain with the stock GY's.

Me too. However, I got some PS4S mounted over Christmas break and holy crap, they are amazing.

Daaannnnng, those things take forever to be made don't they? I'm hoping and praying I don't end up needing to make a warranty claim and having to have a replacement..........

I really wanted the 980s and was told that they were ramped up making the Blizzaks for winter. I guess they finally caught up. 980s will probably be my next set if they can keep them in stock now.

So those of you who have put the Bridgestone's on your 1LE have had no trouble with the front tires rubbing despite the slight size difference? I ask because I have 11,000 or so miles on my GY's and I expect to be going to all seasons within the next 4 or 5 thousand miles. Right now the Bridgestones look like the best bet.

How do the RE980AS's do as far a throwing pebbles? Where I live the city uses sand and small gravel at every intersection during the winter and in the spring/early summer the stock GY's really pick them up and pepper them everywhere. I use the ZL1addon's rock guards but would worry about the extra width on the front with these tires.

I think I'll try some Nitto NeoGen's in 275/35ZR19.

All tires are going to throw out rocks/pebbles around but they won't stick nearly as much to cause an issue if that helps.

More power to you but you have to run aftermarket rims since your saying 19".....

If you were to run the 20" tires it looks like they only make 305/25/20. That would have to be a square setup, if they were to fit the front.
