Maybe DSSV's next (with custom springs and swaybars to match the rate changes), then probably head / cam / headers / intake over the winter. My young sons will be playing with this car more this year, and the old man might get a ZL1 1LE. I know it is / was easier to buy a ZL1 1LE, but, that was not an option in December 2016. Plus, as I have mentioned, coming from 35 years of drag racing to a new hobby, I wanted to start off with the "slow" car, so I skipped on the GS, Z06, & ZL1. Don't regret that at all, however, speed is addicting, as we all know.

I’m pretty sure this has been answered already, but can someone remind me if the 1LE and ZL1 share the same basic pad size? I recently bought a ZL1 and am curious if I can install the track pads I have from my 1LE.

Nope, 1LE pads don't fit the ZL1 caliper; calipers are slightly different between SS 1LE and ZL1.

Off topic but would really appreciate your take as far as moving from an SS 1le to a ZL1. New thread or a PM any feedback will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

For Gen6's: J6H (ZL1) calipers and pads are definitely larger in size vs. J6M (SS 1LE) when you see them next to each other, not night and day, but, definitely bigger.

Wish I took a picture but the 2019 Camaro SS they had at the 12hrs of Sebring had the 6pots. More interestingly their rotors where slotted. I wonder if there is a new part number for that...

Edit: They might of slapped on Z06 rotors (20981823)

If GT4, it is a Brembo race kit

Slotted Rotors from the 6 piston Brembo kit are very expensive compared to stock 1LE.

The LH Side Rotor is 23245481 and RH is 23245480

I only bought one set of replacement stock pads and Amazon had the best price at the time.

Fronts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Rears: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I would also try the AC Delco part #s on Rock Auto, I just saved a ton of $ on the front rotors by going through them.

Use the AcDelco number for the best price at Amazon, Wal-Mart, CarID, Rock Auto to name a few.
Does anyone know if this pad set comes with new hardware (pads, pins and retainer clip), or will that have to be purchased separately? Sorry if the answer was in the thread, I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t read all 22 pages.

Thanks
Jason

It's just the pads, thought for these calipers you don't need new hardware every time you swap pads out. You'll go through a few sets of pads before you need new hardware.
