Starting Issue
Had my 2018 RS for about 4 months. Today I started having a problem when starting. It seemed like it took longer when cranking to start. This happens if I try to start after sitting for a little while. If I try again right after the longer start, it works fine. I just went to move my car and it went to start and then wouldn’t and just cranked over for about 2 seconds. The second attempt was normal. Any ideas? Growing concerned I’m gonna get stuck somewhere.

2 seconds sounds normal. Direct injected engines run at higher fuel rail pressures. The high pressure fuel pump is a mechanical pump that runs off the engine. After sitting for a while it may take a little longer to build pressure so the engine will turn over.
As for your comment that it did not start but cranked for 2 seconds and then you tried again, I’m not sure. Possibly you hit the start switch a second time during the first start attempt and cancelled the first crank request?
