You're welcome on both counts. I felt obligated to report this finding as I would hope that others would report similar findings.

Sending any high performance car down a track at 3-digit speeds is akin to flying airplanes, from a maintenance perspective. There's a lot of vibration, heat, and torsional stress. It's important to inspect and test regularly. I do this before every track day. Nothing beats a hands-on visual inspection.
