Exactly... everyone knows a factory blower car is easy to make power at a low cost but a big cube na engine is just feels right... especially a ls7 spinning to 7k!

Cannot tell you guys how enjoyable it was to rip to the top of 4th gear and still need 5th to stay in the race in that car.

I felt the same way about the c7 z06 and its a supercharged car now so who knows.

I hope we see a N/A track car. I just don't think this is the Z/28 replacement anymore. I think it is the ZL1 replacement...just much more track focused. The shoes and stance on that thing is really impressive.

Sounds NA to me. I'm going with 1LE and that it will be more of a model than a package added on to the SS.. We shall see though.

I think this is our new 1LE model with a more distinct look to separate it from the regular SS which is already faster than the old 1LE but the new SS uses run flat tires and this test mule has sticky summer only track tires with lowered suspension for better track times and handling. JMHO

I can't see them making a 1le that aggressive looking.

If that is a 1LE, that would be awesome. I just hope they don't price it too high. Old 1LE option was $3500 if I remember, if they could make a new 1LE like this and keep it at say a $7000 option, I would buy it. So if you added it to a 1SS it would be about $45000 if you didn't add any other options. I just hope if it is a 1LE that they don't price it a GT350 levels ($50000 and higher) which if it is LT1 based they really couldn't.

No, the stripes are backwards, the camoed ZL1 has them hood moving forward to fender, and IMO they are just safety markers.

You may be correct but Team Camaro is really sending some cryptic info to us with performance script plastered on the rear fender for all to see and hash marks on this car in particular.

Or maybe not! They know full well that these cars get photographed and plastered all over the net. I wonder if those figures were put there to throw us all off?? Or for some laughs?

At this point it is known that we should get a next gen ZL1 as well as a next gen Z/28. Also, that the current 1LE is just a package on a standard SS and that should continue moving forward.

So, what would be more exciting?? A next gen vehicle that we all are expecting or something completely different??? How able a 1LE that is distinctive and its own vehicle, not just a "add on"??

Either way.. we're in for a treat with what is coming down the pipeline!

I'd like it if it was a z/28 priced to compete with the gt350.

just some food for thought...i really dont hear much (if any) supercharger whine from the Z06 either.

seems as if the LT4's supercharger is just very quiet. Something to think about.

Yeah, as some other posts also indicate that the "whine" isn't always apparent, and your post also supports this. With that said, I don't think the lack of "Whine" can be used to determine if SC present or not.

So, what other things can we see that indicate a SC (LT4). IMO the airflow components all point to a motor that needs more cooling and that = IMO, an LT4 - no surprise there right

Whatever it is, it surely is a beast.
