This is true. 2010 went from 304 HP (pulled from the Cadillac CTS model) to 312 in 2011 with zero changes. Just SAE certified for the Camaro.

Disclaimer: I have not seen the vehicle in person for myself.

That said, given what has been said about the car and it's amenities, I might offer that one would be hard pressed to find a better performance option in a "new" car that can be comfortably and reliably driven everyday. Add the comparatively low cost of ownership over time versus higher end or imported cars.

As far as the domestic rivals, it seems that GM has raised the bar for base line performance coupes once again. A little more expensive, maybe, a little, but hey it is what is is.

match that with the fact most camaros sold in highly populated areas...where use of anything more than 300hp unless on a track is pretty rare...so...get a fully loaded 2LT v6 for 10k less...throw dual mode on it...and you've got a car that looks better than anything else on the road...does 30mpg on the highway or better...costs less to insure...less on gas...and less to finance

probably the route ill go...unless a used 1LE shows up online that isnt beat to hell
But you can't get a fully loaded 2LT for less. Load up a 2LT, it's about 2k less than a 2SS.
