Is that the control box behind the glove box for the infotainment?

They were able to pull the same TSB and followed the instructions. They did have to keep it overnight as they kept getting an error while trying to reprogram the radio but they finally succeeded. I kind of chuckled at the technicians notes...Multiple error codes, called GM for assistance. Plugged in my iPhone and it works perfectly...for now. I wonder if after another 1,124 cycles if it happens again?!? Thanks for all the input, hopefully this helps someone else in the future. |

Glad that was the issue. If they couldn’t get it to take programming they would have to replace. Sounds like a setting in the tech2tool needed adjusting. Happened on my truck. It shouldn’t happen again. The issue stems from non finalized software or a programming error which was fixed in later builds. Glad you’re back up and running. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Based on this thread, I bought an Android phone. Android Auto is OK, but you have to use the touch screen for next/prev track.
Yesterday, I got into the car and didn't plug in my phone. Car starts playing the last song I was on from the phone (I was expecting to hear the last song from a 16GB flash drive plugged in) It was playing via Bluetooth!

Mine almost always autoplays my media even though I prefer to listen to my SXM radion primarily...it will play my Amazon Music or Podcasts and sometimes even switches on its own just driving around with no input from me. Ghosts? |

My Samsung Galaxy S10e has saved me from most of that BUT, the volume needs to be turned up all the way, when playing from the phone P.S. I let my S-XM lapse, since, being retired, I drive about 3000 miles a year - and that's taking the long way to most of my errands!
