How do you like the ACS ones?

Wayyyy better than the ZL1 Addons. They are form fitted to the body of the car, no double stick tape to come loose, no spacer contraptions to make it work, look like they belong on the car.

what color did you go with? I just can't see why they bill $300 for 1LE satin paint finish.

I just ordered ACS rockers and front rock guards... I had to take my car to a body shop to fix some minor damage to the front fender/door area when someone backed into my parked car. :( While I was there I discussed adding the parts and they quoted me $300 to do black paint with satin clearcoat or $100 to paint them in a single stage "trim black" which they said would come close to matching the other 1LE black plastic parts. I'm going with the trim black option...

I applied PPF to the rockers, bottom of doors and in front of the rear wheels, after 9k miles the PPF in front of the rear wheels is ready to be replaced and looks like crap, so I think the rockers and guards are a good idea. I'm going to replace the PPF before the install, so it's going to be a PITA but I think it'll be worth it.

Also, the rockers do look nice and are supposed to improve aero as well.

I agree, the ZL1 add-ons are borderline garbage imo.

this is true but the ACS one are EXTREMELY over priced. $200 just for front's is insane, especially since the rivets they provide are absolute trash.

IDK, I'd take the borderline out of that statement. They are basically recycled school lunch trays with double-sided tape that collects grit and is visible after installation.

Which is a problem, right up until that tape fails (it will, give it time) and then it's actual real-life time for the dumpster garbage.

$129 shipped for the unpainted version. I got unpainted and will have them painted same as the rockers.

ACS is a little pricey but their stuff looks nice, gets good reviews and is made in the USA.

I'll check out the rivets and get some better ones, would be nice to use black ano rivets anyways. $6.95 for 100:
