Looking to buy 6th Gen Camaro
Hi Guys, I'm new here! I'll be moving to Idaho from overseas for two years and looking to get a 6th Gen Camaro here. I've been researching for about a month now and would to seek your opinions on when I should make the purchase to get the best deal.
I'm looking for a New/Used 2016-2018 Camaro with RS package, preferably Nightfall grey or Summit White. Budget about 21-23k before taxes and other fees. With the 2019 Camaro coming out early Fall, I'm wondering what kind of incentives and rebates would there be to clear left over 2018 stock and would this also affect and lower the prices of used 6th Gen? Research options: Used 2017 CPO, 22.5k https://www.citymotorgm.com/VehicleD...-MT/3211420023 Used 2017 CPO, 22k https://www.capitol-chevy.com/certif...48c4fce59e.htm Used 2017 CPO, 24k https://www.kendallautomall.com/inve...fb1rs1h0208312 Used 2018 non CPO, 22.5k https://www.royalmooretoyota.com/use...40ef7a5b13.htm Used 2018 non CPO, 23.5k https://www.hirningauto.com/VehicleD...o=%27OnStar%27 New 2018, 26k http://www.steveshometownchevrolet.c...-ID/3072627363 TLDR: Buy now a used/new Camaro now (1-2k below KBB fair price) or wait till 2019 one is out in September to get a better deal? THANK YOU |

First of all, welcome AFAIK it isn't really possible to predict upcoming incentives, but I'd wait as long as possible for a better deal on a used 2018 once 2019's are out in full force.
(Not sure if you have a US driver license, but in case you don't, make sure you get it first or you'll get massacred on insurance, don't even think of using an international license.)

1. Factory warranty. Unless you get a really low mileage '17, there's a good chance you'll find an '18 with lower mileage. 2. Less chance of potential issues. It's still too early to know for certain, but more than likely, a lot of the early TSBs would have already been done. Last edited by torqueaddict; 07-22-2018 at 02:19 AM. |
