Yep she thirsty on the track. Arrived with full tank, filled up at lunch, and then had to fill up before hitting the road home!

Given all the long WOT areas there, that doesn't surprise me.. Even w/o the straights, there's still several heavy throttle areas that like to chew gas just before all the places that love to chew brakes.

I'll be there in mid October and will have to be on my game watching that gas gauge (thanks for the reminder). Can't wait.

Just did Sebring again yesterday. 5.5 mpg. I used basically 1.5 tanks for 4 sessions lol.

I've averaged ~6.8MPG based on filling up this past weekend at Watkins Glen. Two 25min sessions would put me at about 1/4 tank.

Just did my first SCCA track night last week. Showed up with a full tank, left with just under 1/4 tank left. 14.6 gallons for three 20 minute sessions plus pace laps.

Fuel level is not an issue. I have run several AutoX laps on FUMES without a single hiccup. If I recall correctly the cars run dual pumps or pickups to avoid fuel starvation on low fuel levels.

To answer the OP I just ran 3 15-20 minute sessions on the Charlotte Roval course and I still had enough fuel to drive 100 miles home. Granted I had a lot of slow traffic in my sessions and wasn't full throttle all the time, but it probably balanced out considering how long you stay at WOT on the high banks.

Side note your fuel range mileage will be pretty inaccurate until you get a few miles of regular driving in the car. I left Charlotte and it said I had a range of 80 miles after driving 25 miles the range actually went up to about 95 miles. I filled up before the track night Tuesday and I just got the low fuel range message this morning. I'll fill it up after work tonight.

ok, thanks..

You might have to remind me of that when you're there.. I get track focused and will forget names and such.
