Front and Rear Drilled and Slotted Rotors

Ladies and gentlemen, besides spending $10,000 on upgrading the stock Brembos, does anyone know who manufactures a slotted and drilled front and rear set of rotors for a 2SS with the Brembos?

Stop Tech, but wouldn't advise it if you plan to track your car. Power Stop is coming out with rears to match their already in production fronts.

I'd check with Rotor Pros. I've used them in the past for numerous cars.

Putting Slotted/Drilled rotors isn't an upgrade, it's strictly for show and does not provide any additional stopping power and actually decreases swept area

True, you may wanna go for dimpled and slotted instead, almost the same look as cross drilled but stronger material because there are no drilled holes

You loose surface area which equals the stopping force, but it does "look cool". PowerStops is the one I would look at.

The 6 pot Brembo is a 3k option you can buy from the dealer and install. That's the best upgrade. You can change to Hawk pads etc if you fell you must on the stock.

Then why does the Corvette Z51 package come with slotted rotors and state, "Slotted brake rotors for optimized heat dissipation and performance"?

There's a distinct difference between slotted, drilled, or dimpled rotors and a combination of which. Chevrolet utilizing only slotted on their Z51 is in no way a hindrance to performance or detrimental to safety.

Slotted and drilled should be categorized under a show piece and not a performance piece. I mean, they do look awesome, though.
