Did anyone ever figure out what the empty space under the trunk floor was for?
Just wondering? This empty space with the velcro strap:
 Some people have said it for the optional Battery Tender (which I have), but I don't think that is the case as it does not fit properly in any configuration.  Anyone ever figure this out?

Not really, but I keep my spring inserts and rubber air diffusers I removed from the bottom of the front splitter there. I haven't tried seeing if the rain diverter from the hood might fit there, but maybe it does.
