exhaust cutouts flaps

is this the correct way and position the electronic flaps go the left for the driver and right for passenger?

That is correct. The picture they provide is the exact same way.

Do I start the cut shown in the second picture to leave enough to insert the pipe? 2 1/4

Yes, cut the upper line on the top picture so you have enough pipe to slide the sleeve of the cutout over.

Don't forget to put some of their low profile turn downs on there so it directs the exhaust more toward the ground. And just wait til you cam your car and headers !! Nice job!!

Ill eventually get some of these I think but I want the remote so I dont have to wire a switch into the car. There is already one switch in the cup holder for the interior lights.

I think there is a way to wire them into the overhead garage door opener buttons (Homelink) if you have that package from the factory.

Now that would be cool also. I do happen to have that in my car and only use one of the three buttons.
