Good idea. PIA getting the one screw that was by itself in an angle

Here's a comparison between the Green Filter and K&N. Green is the way to go. I just order mine from Summit.

Actually, the oiled filters stop more debris (micron sized) than the paper.

In the past, K&N marketed these things as a way to increase fuel economy. While that argument helped what really sold their "filter charger kits" was the increased throttle response and 'throatier' sound when you jumped on the go pedal.

Thanks kwav8r, I'm feeling around for feedback before I buy.

Green filter has performed well on track for 1000+ miles. No downsides or issues!

hex would be nice. those screws are annoying. This is the first car I've ever had that required screws to change the air filter. hah

I see what you mean about that screw! I gave up. Went to Lowe's and bought a small ratchet tool. I'll try again tomorrow. To top it off, I was putting the others back and dropped one into the bowels below! Never to be seen again. Have to order new screws now! Just my luck....

Get one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/SE-8036TM-NEW...8N9KQRSV7MF39V

It'll turn up quicker than trying to find a replacement screw.

This, saved my bacon when I dropped a bolt when installing the TM ported throttle body.
