Here's my best recorded lap. Lap timer said I did a 16.00 in there previous session, but I forgot to hit record, so it didn't happen haha. Blown away that a set of heat cycled RS4s, 9 events on them, plus with all my shenanigans at Putnam still consistently put down laps in the 16s.

Props to Provost for setting that blistering 2:13.8!!
Superbly entertaining lap! 16s must be pushing it very hard given old rubber. Holy crap you guys really kicked ass there lol!

I had an awesome time at NCM on Sunday with Provoste & jpdaugherty, although I felt like a rank novice trying to keep up with those two (was 6 seconds off of Provoste’s absolutely blazing time). That was my second time driving the Grand Full Course and while I felt fast as hell in certain sections, watching his lap it’s almost hilarious how slow I was in others. Wish I could go back out right away and apply some of that new insight!

I think that's great for a second time at such demanding venue. Next time you'll cut gobs of time! Cheers!
Ps It is really great for Provoste (and others) to be posting their vids for the benefit of our community.
Maybe one of these days i will get off my ass and post some of mine. Mind you, right now my priorities are elsewhere...

Sorry, missed this earlier... looking at Cosworth Data- car registered 33-35 PSI on my 2:13.8 lap. I started at 26 on drivers side, 27 passenger side. The OE Goodyear’s aren’t super pressure sensitive, but start to feel squirmy/unhappy over 36. 34-35 hot seems about their sweet spot.

It was a great day- your observations are spot on and totally normal for newer NCM advanced drivers, Guarantee you’ll drop 2-3 seconds next trip. Cheers!

Track = Oregon Raceway Park (ORP) CW Config
Elapsed Time=1:52.8
Camaro Model = 2019 Camaro SS 1LE
Date=3/21/2020
Tires=Goodyear SC3Rs 305/30/19 SQ setup
Mods= Strut mod, Raybestos ST 47/45 pads, Hotckis Front and BMR rear sway bars, 115lbs weight reduction

Sway bars and SQ SC3Rs worked great. I ended up improving PB by about 2 seconds at the ORP and there's still room for sure. Sorry for the stupid camera angle, will fix that soon too

Grats on a new PB Cem. Were you running with 200lb weight reduction as part of the mods? Cheers!

Thanks! I wish..car weighed 3630lbs (about 115lbs or 3% lighter) better than nothing I guess. I think 18" wheels and gearing makes more difference

I thought rear and passenger seats were more than that. Oh well. Anyhow, any decrease in weight to power ratio helps directly and absolutely. You should add it to your mod list sir

I think so, I edited my post. I tried to listed everything but apparently missed that BTW I measured passenger and rear seats are 82lbs total (I believe I listed them in my build thread) and 38lbs from lighter wheels/tires. If the swaybars added 5 lbs that 115lbs reduction sounds normal.
