Remove convertible top warning sticker?

This might be a bit of a strange question, but are you supposed to remove the convertible top warning sticker above the windshield? There's a tab on the right side of the sticker that begs to be pulled, and I assumed it was supposed to be removed. However, when I started pulling there was a lot of adhesive left behind. I'm sure that can be cleaned up, but before I made a mess I thought I'd check in with a few other convertible owners.

Use some citrus GooGone and keep the edges marinated with an eyedropper. After 15 or 20 minutes it should pull off no problem. Do not scratch it off, you want to use enough GG so that it releases, and the rest of the adhesive comes off with your thumb by rolling it. Patience is the name of the game here, just keep putting on more citrus.

Thanks Glen. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Did you need to use the floss to peel it off as well, or will the Goo Gone and fingers be sufficient?

No idea.....Some decisions will have to be made on the spot. The picture is from my archives and the subject was de-badging, not a label

Peeled the sticker off, which left behind a little residue. Given how easy it came off, it seems to me this sticker is meant to be removed. A little Goo Gone and the residue cleaned off. Thanks.

I kept it on for about a year before I finally gave in and took it off.
So much nicer without that eyesore there! 🙌🏼

I pulled mine off before I left the dealership. It was rolling at the edges and looked terrible, no residue left. Looks much better without the sticker.

Now i just have to remember to keep all body parts inside the car when lowering the top. I think I can do that? If not I'll post a picture of the injury.

Took the sticker off......lost an arm. LOL joke.
Personal preference. I have a friend who still has the one in the glove box 3 years later

Haha, I still have the one on the glove box too, although it’s been tucked inside the glove box. Why? I honestly don’t know...I think I like to pretend it’s still brand new. Your comment reminded me that it’s still there.
