Seems weird that an infotainment system update would go out on the same day for 18' vehicles and '19 vehicles, as they are completely different systems

I decided I would check my version and I don’t have a version number. I quote it displays “You have the latest software. Version:”

On my 2019 I go to Settings and scroll down to About, that shows Build Number V805.1, then touch the circled i next to it and it shows the release dates of each build.

It makes sense if their software teams run a multiplatform build pipeline and they are adding the same or similar enhancements to the old and the new infotainment system.

They update 18's? Thought only 19+ can get updates over the air.

I can not recall everything in the patch notes but I do recall seeing something about it fixing the climate system bugs. My climate off issue is now fixed.

I have a 2019 and haven't noticed an update. Is there a way to manually tell it to update if it doesn't have the latest version.
