The middle run being stock the Headers and cats through factory exhaust.

The top run being ARH 1 7/8 LT w Cats with full 3 inch system.

438 RWHP 455 RWTQ NO TUNE STOCK AIR BOX.

Exhaust is worth 10 RWHP 10 RWTQ at peaks and as much as 18 RWTQ in areas.

IMPRESSIVE GAINS FOR BOLT ONS.

Ted.

Is a tune required for this exhaust system? I know a tune is for best gains but would want to keep my warranty on powertrain.

Am i not correct in assuming you throw this on and your warranty is done?

Was the middle run with the base mufflers or upgraded NPP?

Yes tuning is required to prevent codes, otherwise no.

The new SS feel lighter, Changes direction quicker, is quieter, smoother and more refined more Corvette like if you will.

Value is Very good.

I really think option 2, the long system, is the best choice for us with NPP but it's missing the AFM valves for those of us with the A8. I hope in the future they will make afm valves optional on it. That's the only thing holding me back as I have no plans to disable AFM due to the gas mileage I get with it. I'll try to email them later to see if they could make this an option

Option 1 would keep the valves in place.

I realize this leaves the flat spots in the pipe but they are not as restrictive as they look.

This is a great example watch.

I'm not sure where those valves are (I heard before the x-pipe)... but wouldn't a shop be able to weld those sections in? I know you'll be cutting a beautiful new exhaust, but it shouldn't cause any issues if done right.

They are after the factory x-pipe. Yes I considered that idea but you'd need to have the actual valve taken out of the pipe and then added in and hope the functionality is similar because the pipe diameter stock is 2.75" I believe and the pipe shrinks even further at the AFM valves so it may be even 2.5" there and ARH is 3" I believe.
