I'd go for the 2020, I think they look great and you will be able to get one in the color you want. Not to mention the infotainment is a little improved so that is a plus.
The financing is pretty similar. Not enough difference to sway me either way.

Sure wish I could get the mustang incentive money. That would make the decision easier.

As the old saying goes, get the newest lowest mileage one you can afford. A new car is fun to have as it ages, but starting new with the previous look gets old fast.

Depends on how long you plan on keeping the new car. The 18' will already be 2 years old and depreciated, while the new has the new car warranty. My 2 cents, buy the new.

Thank you everyone for your help and opinions. Since posting that I have driven a 2SS, a 2SS 1LE, and for good measure a 2013 Grand Sport C6 (same price range). I also called two dealers from two different states to ask about prices regarding ordering and current 2020 inventory.

So, after all that work, I just bought the 2018 Hyperblue 2SS 1LE sight unseen. I hope it was the right decision. Reasons I went this way:

I didn’t like the Riverside Blue of the 2019 that I drove as much as the Hyperblue.

The car (although a 2018) was custom ordered and delivered less than 1 year ago.

I prefer the styling (front and back) of the 2018 models.

I am getting it for 10K off sticker and it turns out it only has 1050 miles.

Already has two coats of ceramic coating. As mentioned above, that probably means the owner was pretty meticulous in caring for it.

*Now I have to decide about shipping it or flying out and driving home 1700 miles*
