I thought someone was in the process of making some custom fit cover for that vent too, no?

Yea, not seen anything lately on it. He did give the materials used. I just keep a black microfiber towel in the backseat in case.

FWIW, I experienced fogging in my SS here in MA during month of November so all those stories that it happens only in hot/humid environment is not true. I'll certainly be making some DIY fix this spring.

Never fogged up before on my 2SS since i took it off the lot. Rented a 1SS in Florida past month and thing fogged up like crazy. Now i see what the fuss is all about and it sucks for sure. I thought for sure it was the humidity or something...

Did it fog up one time when the conditions were exactly "right" or did it fog up all the time, morning, noon and night?

I hear that. I own a few Vape Shop's so i know how that goes as my employees clean the windows every few days. I did happen to find a product that does keep the vapor/ecig build up down some its called - Haze Away. So far its been helping a bit and we end up cleaning the windows in the store less often. |

I know they do sell the wipes and it might be the way to go without dropping more money at first to see how you like it, but i ended up getting a gallons worth of the concentrate form of their Hazeaway, distilled water and mixed it into a few spray bottles for my showcase glasses and storefront windows.

There is a repair for this issue now - ask your dealer to reference last months emerging issues broadcast for more information.
The repair isn't official yet so there is not a document to reference but it will require the technician to remove some foam from the defroster door that is holding it partially open. Getting to it... That's the tricky part. |
