ZiG, did you make your own blind spot mirrors? Or did you buy those. I would be interested in getting some kind of mirors like that, but the circles I think would look bad.

Come to Ithaca, you will love how people park Spike.

I have issues pulling forward into spots but backing into spots I can do it perfectly every time.

Parallel parking is completely off limits. Can't do it. Won't risk it.

I'm in with the group of folks that just avoid parking around or near other vehicles in lots. No scratches, no dents, no dings and I intend to keep it that way.........

I've never really had a problem except those damn compact-sized parking spots where all four tires are practically touching the lines, making it hard to open the door if there's another car. But I drive a ton of different cars all the time for work so I got used to parking duallys, fiats and everything in between.

Working in a refinery with crowded roads I started backing my work truck into places and got accustomed to backing up, tried it with my car, point the mirrors to make sure I'm in the lines, piece a cake now I back up everywhere! I always find myself telling people to back up into spots when I'm with them in their SUV's and trucks, I even offer to do it for them! lol

I'm right there with you! Always find that spot away from everyone even if I have to walk a lot more!

O.o

I've never found the Camaro to be that much more difficult to park than anything else I've driven.

I always back in, and drop one of the side mirrors down so I can peek at the line. Has been helping me ever since. In order to not prematurely burn that motor, i'm getting front/back cameras soon though to help

Depends on the context. In a Camaro and on this forum: "it takes a while to get used to." In any other car, pictured on this forum: "That ****er should be institutionalized and his children taken by CPS."

Seriously. It took a bit for me to park roughly parallel with the lines. Backing in is pretty easy with the mirrors (since I don't have a reverse camera), but I also commit the cardinal sin of having a little bit of the side of my car visible on the edge of the mirror.

I have had few close calls that I thought I had 12-14 inches and it was 1-2 inches from the curb another reason to back in.
That was scares me about pulling in too close. I don't wanna hit the splitter and break it off or something

Made 'em myself because I couldn't stomach the look of the round ones. I designed the holder in 3D CAD and 3d printed it with ABS plastic, then made a template to trim an off the shelf mirror to an exact fit. I'm hoping I might be able to bang off a bunch more if people are interested!
