at Railyard with no ETA

Anyone else stuck at 3800 status on a railcar in Lansing? Mine is on the dealership's website listed as "in transit" and has been produced with no ETA for a month now.
The Chevrolet chat says it "has been released to a carrier and just waiting to be shipped, however, there is no estimated date of arrival yet"
On a previous message they had told me standard shipping time was 3-5 weeks but could be up to 8-12, depending on location and transit method.
My salesperson has no information on the details either..
When I placed my order they said 3-6 months. It's been a month since it was produced and 6 months overall.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has a similar experience, an idea of how much longer it will be, or know any reason this is happening?

6/21 - ordered
7/8 - 1100
10/20 - 2000 accepted by GM
10/27 - 3000 TPW 11/14
11/16 - 3800 no ETA
12/21 - 3800 no ETA

It's normal, there is no other answer for it, I think you've gotten the best of what any one can say. Other than the dealer keeping in VinView and monitoring it's movement, or lack thereof, there's nothing to do about it.

If you haven't already tried, go to chevy chat and ask for Live agent. Give them your Vin number and ask them for location of car and ETA. On Tuesday I spoke with Live agent and gave them my Vin number this time. The said it left New Boston MI on Monday heading to Doremus New Jersey. ETA was 1/6.

FINALLY OMGGGG
Finally moved from 3800 to 4300 status... still no ETA though

I don't have a car currently and the dealership won't lend me one until my order has an ETA, that's why I'm just stressing how much I want to get an ETA lmao

Yeah, personally the longest wait for me was to get to 3000 - it took like 4 months for GM to pick it up so I'm glad that part is over
My salesperson can see it just changed to 4300 but still no ETA. I've read some instances where people get to 4300 but then the code goes back to 4000 or 3800 just hoping that doesn't happen

Mine has went from 4300 to 3800 and back to 4300 as well, honestly not sure. I have no ETA as well. It does get annoying because my trade has dropped 1k in value the last month and interest rates went up as well. Was going for a 60 month , but if this continues I may have to go 72 ....I don't want to pass up the purchase.

Took 1 year for GM to get to Status 3000. Was built and by 12/9 was at 4300 (Intermediate Delivery)
My son is the salesman, and has tracked the car to a lot at the corner of Olds Ave and MLK Blvd. Delivery is anyone guess, 2 weeks to 2 months.

I know!! I (not my finest moment) called my salesperson about 2 weeks ago very frustrated and expressed to her my complaints and my dealership management offered a refund, or to switch vehicles. But I've waited this long and don't want to pass up on the purchase I wanted. Just a long, seems like never-ending waiting game. Just want the wait to be over
So is yours still at the railyard?? or has it actually been shipped?

I was less than 2 months to go from 1100 to 3400. It is unreal how long some people are waiting.

According to the dealer yes at rail yard, but no ETA. They said it will hit 4200 status when it fully ships. I assume with the weather hitting the Michigan starting tomorrow, there will probably be no movement on any vehicles for a week or more. They are going to be covered in snow and very cold temps. It is getting very frustrating.

Just curious how far out GM will go just shipping by truck and bypassing rail delivery?

My order was built, but just sitting, for weeks on end, but then my salesman suddenly texted me one Friday evening saying it looked like the car was being loaded onto a truck for delivery, and on Monday it arrived at the dealership.

Thankfully, it was shipped by truck and I didn't have to wait for rail delivery, which is where it seems a lot of delays tend to happen.

Mine seems to be stuck at a railyard in Toledo? ETA slipped from 12/22 to 1/3? Been sitting there for 2 weeks.

Best regards,
Dave

Going back and forth from 3800 to 4200/4300 and back means it was moved from one location to another. Like from the factory to the upfitter to do the matte hood for the 1LE. Then back to the factory. Then moving again to the rail yard and so on. The codes weren’t meant to be public. Trying to follow them in any logical sense will make your head spin.
