Dealer sticker

Does anyone know the best way to get that terrible dealer decal off the car without ruining the paint?

Thanks!

peel it off, then use a little rubbing alcohol or goof off to get rid of the residue. Try not to scratch at it with your fingernails, the paint on these cars scratches way too easily.

Its crazy how easy they scratch. I can rub my black paint with my finger nail and it will scratch. I also had a sticker on the back of my car and when I peeled it off the paint came off with it. I had it repainted, looks good but not factory, buy I know metallic paint isnt the easiest to paint.

heating the area up with a hair dryer helps the glue to come off. i just picked at it till I got an edge up with my fingernail.

After that I took some goof off (the automotive kind) and a good microfiber to get the glue to come with it.

The longer its on the harder it is to get to come off.

I used a heatgun to remove mine...just be careful not to warp the paint.

Finger nail and Goo gone for residue. You can. Use blue shop towels. They will not scratch paint

None of the Dealer sticker’s harm the paint, they’re even sold that way from the vendor to the dealership. People get too impatient when they’re trying to take off the sticker or a badge. GooGone works wonders, if you let it work. Get a medicine dropper and keep it soaked for about an hour, marinating with drops every 10 minutes. It will literally pull off with no problem. But most people want to put a little bit on , and then start ripping it…bad idea.

Floss is for the plastic dealer badges. The OP is asking about decals.

I use plastic trim tools to scrape if needed, not fingernails.

Ditto here.......

Got smart this time around, and requested no "Dealer sticker"...
