Just want to try imer on my 2016 RS/Procharger, best way to get quick time, A8?

Been looking all over the web for tips for getting best time using built in timer. I may have used it when I first bought car in 2016 but forget what the number was had but I was basically just at idle and punched gas. Not a gear head, admitted newbie, and too old to take to track though my son want's too... isn't happening. Let him test drive with me when first got it and idiot hit 130's before I about wrung his neck!!!

I recently had installed a Procharger which after day of tuning dynoed to 433, so likely around 500hp at crank including drivetrain loss of around 18% which tuner said is rough number, they only really deal with real dyno numbers.

Anyways, Saw few vids that had guys with automatics in general and they say to mash brake pedal, rev to 2000- 2300, then quickly release and hit gas? Sound about right? seems should be around 4 than 5 ish.when stock. All informative opinions appreciated and know their are many here. Thanks so much. Tony

Are you on the stock tires? If so, I'd simply start off with traction control on, and no foot braking (or very light foot braking) and go up from there. Obviously with the new found power, you have no idea what to expect, so it would be best to start off conservative and go from there. For reference my best is a 5.2 but most are in the 5.4-5.7 range. If I leave traction control on, and do not foot brake, I usually get like 5.7-5.8 most of the time. My car is basically stock btw

If it's a 275 all season similar to the stock ones it's not going to make a big difference.

Just liked look of wider tires on back, did that years ago. Car only has 9,000 on it. Any more opinions on getting best 0 to 60 time and what RPM to have it when I take off?
