I believe the Motor Trend Head to Head videos come out every 4th Wednesday. Tomorrow 11/18 is the 4th Wednesday since the last match up. Not sure what cars are going to be tested.. but it should be tomorrow, and the Camaro has to be at the top of the list of car that need testing.. We'll see.

What sucks is that everyone is going to think the regular 350 is so badass, when in reality it won't touch a Z/28 on the track. I honestly believe a base 350 will be closer to a 2016 SS rather than the 5th gen Z/28.

That said, I fully expect the 350R to win, and when it comes to being more usable/comfortable off the track, I expect it to win even more there. But I think the Z will be close.

Since Ford had the Z/28 available to benchmark during the Shelby 350R development....I would really hope the 350R can beat the older Zeta platform Z/28. If not, it would mean that the Ford Performance division has given up competing with GM head to head....I certainly hope not!

I assume most if not all think the R will beat the Z. But for Ford's sake I hope its by a large margin. If its close or a drivers race that would be embarrassing for them. Granted the Z/28 is a hell of a car for the money...it will be hard to beat.

Really? I still think base 350 should be faster than Gen6 SS by some margin. On a track size 2 miles or so, I would think 350 should be about 1-1.5 sec faster than SS. (of course, assuming driver is same) I think Z/28 may come in between 350R and 350, and all being about 0.5 to 1 sec apart from each other.

I'm looking forward to chasing some 350 on the track in SS or my C6, although it should be faster than me in either car. I love that high revving V8 sound!
