GM's Camaro Performance Driving Supplement recommends Dexos2 0W-40 or 5W-40 oil for the SS1LE if you are driving on track.

So just following their recommendation.

Except now they're apparently saying 0W-40 ESP all the time for the LT1, just for added confusion.

0w-40 esp for both road and track duty.

I’m still running 5w-30.

Last dealer oil change I did the service dept. was out of the Ford Racing oil filters, the tech's forgot I had my own oil in my trunk and filled it with semi-synthetic. You gotta watch them or do it yourself with a "low-profile" jack and jack stands. It's a Wild World out there!

all joking aside though... we are beginning to see the fruits of our culture teaching the next that facts are subjective and the only thing that matters is how many people say/like/retweet the same thing.

Expect to see more of this, and it's our own fault.

Just wait until nothing we see in video or pictures can be trusted. The next hundred years is gonna be like revisiting the slightly cleaner middle ages without something seriously changing.

Compounding this genuinely scary problem IMO is the increasing difficulty of acquiring actual facts and telling them from falsifications, which steer many towards the agnosticism and relativism you rightfully criticize, and is also why I have stopped watching or reading nearly any kind of news.

When information is turned into half lies and some people even rationalize this, say, by acknowledging that somehow corporations are not meant to be honest, their ads are lies, even fact sheets can be fudged and it's all "okay" and "understandable" simply because it contributes to the bottom line and "shareholder value"... then it's harder to blame other people for no longer keeping up the good fight. Not all have the inner strength to develop and sustain a steel backbone against a growing tolerance of lies.

Then again, who is messing up my lawn again? Get off you....
