Turn signal indicator lights.
I know this sounds crazy but usually someone else has had the same crazy idea and solved it.
When I get the steering wheel where I like, I can't see the turn signal indicator lights on the dash. Has anyone come up with some kind of additional lights in a different location? |

Well you learn something new every day.
When I read this I thought "I wasn't aware that there are turn indicator lights on the dash". So I went out to the garage and checked and there they were, hidden behind the wheel rim. So yes, apparently I have the same problem in that I cant see the turn indicator lights, but in 40,000 miles of driving the car i havent missed them or felt the need to look at them. That's why you can hear the flasher unless you have the radio volume up so high.

That's my point. I CAN change tilt or seat but that's not where I feel comfortable or in the best control. I'd love to see more in the HUD. '96 Pontiac Bonneville had everything in the HUD and I don't understand why not now that it is even easier. Turn signals, brights, gas, speed and if idiot lights came on, oh it was really something back then! Now they think it's more important to let me know what song is on the radio. Anyway, somebody give me 2 GREEN LEDs at the edge of the dash or the bottom of the panel. Please? |

Wheel up, seat down, seat reclined slightly, seat back a touch... there are a BUNCH of different little adjustments that you can make that should not make you feel uncomfortable but when combined, will open up your view of the directional indicators. |

Leaving these off the 6th gen and not adding some configurability is pure laziness on the developers' part or artificial resource constraints enforced by program management (maybe both). Complexity here is nonexistent, it's just a simplified data renderer that could literally have been a labor of love from a bunch of interns.

Everyone's seating position is different. I put the wheel where I like it, then move the seat position so I can see the turn signals. For me (5'10" and 177 lbs) it's a very small adjustment and it works. May or may not for you. Give it a try - - and good luck!

My buddy's Mazda 6 GT had more info on the HUD for daily driving for sure. Not sure if it had turn signal indicators on it, though. Just a few days ago I had my turn signal stuck on for the first time. Didn't hear the ticking until I heard a cyclist shout about it when I went straight instead of right at a stop sign.
