I wish they would have focused on getting some weight out, ie why all the non-needed items as standard (heated seats, boston accoustics, rear camera, etc)

Also they should have gone with the bigger tvs supercharger even if they would have detuned the rating below the zr1 level to allow end users more ability to adjust at their risk... i think this was a major mistake IMO... if they didn't want this i would have put in a wet sump LS7 as again you give the end user a great platform with the ability to easily up it past the new gt500

I have been on the fence on the gen5 since you could pre-order the first ones. the size/weight has always been the hesitation

I have 3 third gens including an '85 with a LS3 type engine with lots of mods including TVS2300 mated to built t56... it is making 556 rwhp at 3300 lbs... i have a lot more money in this one than a zl1 after three years of building it myself, but i like thirdgens

i have been thinking about the zl1 as it will clearly handle great, etc, but i am honestly worried it might not be fast and responsive compared to what i am use to driving already...

I love camaros and currently have 3 already... i would like to talk myself into a zl1 as i like the style and handling package, etc but that base engine and weight is keeping me churning on it... it is a great car and i think it is incredible they did this, i just would have done it a little different and that is what is giving me the hesitation

If I could change one thing within reason.
LS9, yeah it cost more, but the gains outweigh the cons.
LSA is awesome no doubt, but you always gotta look the top shelf.
Human nature I guess.

T Tops, "Camaro" or ZL1 named steering wheel instead of the generic Chevy bow tie Cruze like steering wheel, Leds Lights technology , and non retro stereo system with more of a 7in navigation info screen like in the Escalade...That is all....

They shoulda:
Stuck with Pirelli tires
Offered ZL1 unique colors
Made the active suspension an option
As for superchargers, they are the future, as opposed to more displacement.

Gimme the supercharger!
