Yep, Brett has spent a good bit of time with me and has my car flying. I'm just curious because I haven't seen any times with my mods on just normal street tires. It's hard for me to get the track so I'm just looking to see what others are doing to sort of get a feel for what mine is capable of. Brett is the bomb and is great to work with.

I’d say about a 1.7 60 ft is best you can expect on a street tire. If you have DA of 2-3000 I’m gonna say 11.5-11.7 is a pretty realistic goal. Low 11s are possible I’m sure but track prep will have to be perfect. To get a low 11 you will have to essentially floor it off the start with little to no wheel spin. Tall order for the stock runflats and 500 ft lbs of torque that comes on quick

I’ve never tracked the stock tires but I’ve read airing them down to about 25 with a small burnout to clean them off works best. Drive around the water box

If all else fails try some runs with launch control. That should get you at least high 11s with your mods in summer DA... unless the track is complete crap for prep

I would say a 1.7 60' is a tall order for the stock run flats. Stock camaros are traction limited to 1.9s with just a few 1.8s. Adding more power wont net you a lower 60' if you can't get it to the ground

I've replaced the stock run flats with some Continentals which seem to hook OK. I'm going to give it a shot hopefully this weekend and will post back

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Andy is always out there killing it. I just lend a hand when needed. We will see what we can do this winter with his car. We always have something up our sleeve we are working on. It is great to see everyone running hard.

I have the stock tire record as far as I know at 11.70@118+. I think that was with a 1.77 or 1.80 60ft. Car had a couple light bolt ons at the time with some tuning full weight. Pump gas if I remember correctly. You have to get the burn out right and the 2K launch perfect to get the tires to stick and stay under power.

I have a M6 car with a rear tire, RF w/ oiled filter, E85 tune running 11.51@123 in the heat. We are trying to get a ported IM/TB on there, Drag pack, and some tuning with a WB. Right now it is just a "non dialed" in tune.

Pray has my Grand Sport setup proper to a "T". Can't say enough good things about his knowledge on these cars. I am OCD on logs and tuning and we are always trying to find that tenth or hundredth on the setup. Looking forward to some more mods coming and better times this fall.

We have gone 10.70's@3,640 race weight. So this is not the lightest LT1 out there by any means. There are plenty of 6th Gens now lighter than this car. The GS is heavy as crap. Z06 without the motor.

As Pray mentioned above, have been 10.74@126.9 so far. Still playing with tune tweaks at the track when I can make it, and we just added a ported MSD manifold to the mix.. so should have some decent times coming.

Car is heavier than the base Stingray. Like Pray said.. it's a Z06 without the LT4. My raceweight with the Forgestar drag pack(18x5f, 18x12r) is a little under 3600lbs.
