Where do you buy your oil etc in Canada?

I live in the Vancouver area and am wondering where people go for decent price and availability on diff fluid, DOT4 and the seemingly impossible to find 0W-40 dexos 2 oil.

Oil Part source, Canadian tire, Walmart. 0W-40 Walmart or BMW dealership have been consistent for me.

DOT4 any performance shop or amazon

Out here in the west at least the 0W-40 Dexos 2 is near impossible to find. Not at Canadian Tire, not at Walmart, not at Lordco.

Dealer says GM list price is $40 per litre and they cannot discount it until GM changes the price in the system

honestly unless you are tracking the car, nothing wrong with 5w30. it is what was listed for the Camaros up until recently. Personally, i'm still running Penz Plat 5w30.

I just chanced the oil today since I intend to track my car this summer.

Mobil 1 0W40 ESP Dexos 2 is about $23/bottle at a Chevy dealer in Edmonton. The bottle might be 1 L or 1 Quart, I am not sure on that one. But for sure you will need 10 bottles so it doesn't really matter if it is 1L or 1Quart. A high performance filter that goes with this oil is about $33 also at the dealer.

So for a Mobil 1 0W40 ESP it will be about $270 in parts + labour Expensive, but for me it is cheaper than changing the oil after track days; plus I drive the car in the winter so 0W40 should be good for that too.

Same car. I was using Amsoil 5w30 SS, but I am thinking of using the same Valvoline oil too since it's at least officially certified.

Do you have the PN of the high performance filter?
