Pray Performance new P1X + STG II cam dyno numbers. 785/636rw.

This is the same P1X car that ran 10.0's@138.5 with 640rw last time out on the completely stock long block. We decided to throw some VR forged pistons in it and my custom PP STG II blower cam. The dyno numbers are in 5th gear on the 305 Mickey R's. So there was more in the numbers on regular tires and in 6th gear. I just put the motor back together so it only has 100 miles on it right now. The break in oil wasn't helping the numbers either. Boost hit 190KPA or just under 13psi right at 7K. The cam pulled hard right to 7K where I had the limiter set. I only put 17* of timing in it on meth. I figured I wouldn't lean on it very hard right now. Hopefully I will get it back to the track next weekend.

Mods:

PC P1X STG II intercooler
3.40" pulley 12.8psi max
PP STG II Blower cam
Alky Control Kit
LT4 fuel system
Kooks 2" and cat back
VR Wiseco drop in pistons
Circle D 2D converter
Race Star drag pack w/ 305 Mickey R's

Anyone know if the VR drop ins keep the stock compression? The dome didn't look as large as stock so I am figuring they are down a point of SCR.

No head work or IM/TB work. No race fuel or E85. Just pump 93 and some Meth. The cam and pistons were the only change. And to tell the truth, the boost and timing are the same.

Is the stage II blower cam bigger than the cam I have? I gotta like that 7000 RPM pull. I don't know where my cam stops as I got a hard time keeping it straight. I think I'm going to have to setup a camera to record what is going on, as the shifts are way too quick for the Oldman to keep track of. I want you all to note that on an M6 shifting at 6500 in 1st gear, the engine is at 4250 in 2nd. This cam brings the sift to at least 7000 and that would put it at around 4600 RPM RPM, that is 580 ft lbs of torque, from a centri… Hehe.
Vegnence has said their piston is the stock CR. Did you use the ARP bolts on the rods? You are correct that the stock rod bolts are torque to yield. Crazy..

Your cam is a little bit smaller and has a wider lobe sep. I think your cam has 0* OL. This cam has 5* OL. If I clean up the fuel a little up top and add a degree or two of timing it will pull cleanly to 7K.

Wow, sick numbers. Should run 9.70s in good weather. My car slowed down with a 15 degree temp change and DA was 2500. Bad weather is hear so no more good times for a while. That car should be wicked.

Looks like the P1X is a pretty capable little blower, at over 780whp that car is going to fly , if anyone is going to get the most out of it Brett will considering he went 10.00 with 640whp on the SBE, when you go to the track yall might wanna take an extra driveshaft and some axles, also please keep a good record with all the details of this build so I can copy...lol

You know you are making torque when drivetrain stuff starts breaking. ...
