I feel your pain. I sunk a ton of money over the years into my C5 corvette and it just sits in the garage.

Ive been hesitant on adding too many performance modification on my Camaro because its sits in the garage next to the vette. I put about 2000 miles a year on either vehicle since I have three other vehicles to drive.

I think I have issues, 5 cars for two drivers. My daily is a Hemi Charger.

I love my ZL1, but I plan on getting a Z06 or ZR1 (if they make one) in another year or so. I just need my daughter to be big enough for the front seat.

I'd get the Vette if I were you, but it all depends on your budget. I'm thinking you won't get much more for you car than a 2011 SS despite the SLP upgrades. If you are close to paying it off, then I might do so and add a Vette later.

They are two very different cars geared toward very different audiences. A Camaro is very practical and utilitarian in the sense that you can live out of your Camaro - it can be your only vehicle. You can use it to drop the kids off at the school, pick up the groceries at the store, then head to the drag strip or the circle track. You can throw a set of winter tires on it and drive it all year around. You cannot do that with the Corvette. While you could daily drive a Corvette to work and back, it would be completely impractical as a sole transportation vehicle since it lacks back seats and a usable trunk. While the Corvette may just be the best performing $55,000 car on Earth, the Camaro crushes it in terms of performance per dollar in all conditions.

A Camaro is an extremely well-rounded vehicle you can use in all conditions and for all walks of life. A Corvette is a niche vehicle for certain times, places and situations.

It depends on what you want. If you have plenty of spare cash and other vehicles you use for poor weather conditions, commuting to work and trips to the grocery and hardware stores, buy what you want. But if money is an issue and you don't have reliable back-up vehicles, you'll miss that Camaro and its utility very quickly.
