top gear UK review on the camaro SS
i was watching top gear on netflix today, and one episode caught my eye. they did a review on the camaro! i was suprised because it's not the kind of car they usually have on that show. moreover, i was disturbed because they had it race another "muscle" car, the Mercedes E63 AMG. Really!?! come on that isn't a muscle car, let alone in the same category as the camaro. Then of course Jeremy Clarkson talked trash on the camaro(as usual because he hates americans) and the e63 just BARELY beat the camaro in a race. i like watching top gear because it's funny and all, but why cant a program just do an unbiased review on a car?

Because the whole point of Top Gear is that they don't take things seriously, they often pit mismatched cars, they have a bloody good time having fun, and... well, Jeremy can be Jeremy, which is the best thing about the show. Wouldn't let the "review" get to you, though; they don't think much of any Corvettes, either.
That was an episode from over a year ago, so let's see what they think of the ZL1, or even 1LE. IF they get around to it.

If you want a good review on an american car i definently wouldnt plan on seeing it on top gear. Jeremy hates all things american, cars and anythhing else. Funny show but he is very anti american

There is new episodes of Top gear on Netflix now i havent seen that on neflix yet.

Well he actually liked the Corvette ZR-1. As much as he dogged it at first, he had to admit its awesome drive by the end of the review.

the one where jeremy drives the corvette and actually likes an american car
 is season 12 ep 2. i actually liked it very much, especially the part when they are at the diner

i know this post doesn't really have much to do with the camaro, but i've been really really bored around the house waiting to leave, so i have been watching top gear alot and reading the forums.

Jeremy's favorite car is American lol. He owned a 2005 ford GT40 haha! And he loves American cars. Look at the viper review, He hated it, but loved it at the same time. Look at the corvette zo6 review, he loved that corvette. You guys don't watch enough top gear lol.

I don't think he's anti American. I think it's just for laughs... The entire show that is.
I like top gear, but for serious reviews I like fifth gear. The describe the challenger as a "big [orange] slab of a car". Here's the Fifth gear for the camaro.
