1st autocross in the 1LE

Like the title says, I took my first runs in the car last Sunday on the surprisingly good stock tires. I am a notoriously slow learner on new platforms, so I was late on the throttle, early on the brake, and I still need to work on my launch. I finished 3rd in PAX though. I did make a huge blunder in turn 18 (as the PDR labeled it lol) on my last/fastest run which cost me some significant time. The Cosworth toolbox is great. Provided a lot of data that showed my flaws and where I can improve. I like the fact that it also tracks info on the status of the car like oil temps, etc. I am working on the video now. Since I have a Mac I need to convert the raw video so I can have sound. I'll post a link once I have it up.

Here is the video. Be easy on me lol.

I like the fact that, for being new to this, you're aggressive...….
You'll make many mistakes along the way; hell, we all do. That's the way you'll find the cars limits and get better.

Congratz, and have fun !

I’ve been autocrossing for years, this is the first time in the 1LE. I ran Mustangs for a long time and then a Miata as my last car. So coming from the Miata’s lack of power/torque to this is a major change that will take a few events for me to get used to. My aggressiveness bites me in the butt sometimes, like the corner I over drove. I’ll get it.

That's what I love about this platform ……. its not an easy car to drive.

I always love to say "those who can, do.....and those that can't, buy an M3"
Just joking of course.

I'm impressed. I have never tried an autocross but plan on trying it out at the CamaroFest in BG KY this year.
