Traction control help

So I recently bought some new tires and recently installed these new tires. I have same size in the rear 275/35/20 and I have 255/35/20 in the front but when I drive my traction control keeps flashing on me. Why is that???

Flashing TC light means the TC system is active because the car detected some kind of wheel slip and is limiting engine torque.

Is it flashing at you just rolling down the road? Or when you're driving "spiritedly"?

Soooo, what brand and model? All the obvious stuff; pressures, lug torques, same tire sizes per axle?

More specific information as to the failure mode is important.

It’s flashing while just driving regularly and when I slow down sometimes it flashes as well

Did the ABS/wheel speed sensor/wiring get damaged in any way?

Maybe a bad sensor or damaged during install.

NT01 in those sizes shouldn't be anywhere close to slipping nor would they have a large enough difference in rolling radius to cause an issue under normal driving conditions. I'd agree with those above that it's likely an issue with the wheel speed sensor.

Okay. I’ll take another look and give a update.

Okay so the light only came on when I started driving. Then later on it never came on again. But it flashes when I’m coming to a complete stop at points.

You shouldn't have a problem by just swapping to those NT05's.

Stock wheels?

Maybe a dumb question, but I have to ask: Are you sure it's the traction control light? TPMS?

Stop by an O'Rilley Auto and get the car scanned. O'Rilley usually has scanners that will read body and chassis codes.

Sometimes the speed sensor or abs sensor needs to be reset. Unplug the battery for 20min and then reconnect.
