Good luck! As others said Salvage title, ie carfax will scare away most buyers. When you buy a salvage car most peeps keep it til the wheels fall off. What your trying to do is not impossible, but improbable. Get the air fixed on your dime since summer is coming & that will up your % slightly for a sale.

Hopefully the price you paid reflected the salvage title?

Nailed it.

List it at 12k, be ready to take 10k.

This! Salvage title equals anyone who buys it is going to pay CHEAP!!! Might be 20-40%? But the 40% below value is the supreme value for it. Someone would REALLY have to want your car to pay $1 more than $10k and that's perhaps a pipe dream.

Car looks really nice in the pics but all kinds of red flags. And pics dont always tell the whole story. OP changed story. First it was an over heating issue salvage title and now its a rebuilt title and friend was in an accident.
Buyer beware!

Absolutely! Salvage Title is the kiss of death... $10K, if you're very lucky. And fix the air.

The title says repair so it's not salvaged. What do you guys think... should I just keep the car because I already put money into it or sell it before the car gives me any more problems and take a loss on this one?

The first post says the title is salvage? It either is or isn't.

Poking fun here.

Actually, the OP shows the Title as "savage" repair not salvage. Reckon that indicates the repairs were brutally done?

Does it say 'salvage repair' or 'repair'; if it says salvage repair, it's a salvage title. A 'repair' title means that at one time it had a salvage title and was rebuilt, which means you are still going to take a big lose.

As far as whether to sell and take the loss or keep it, given the money you've put into it and the only problem you state is the AC, I would get the AC fixed and keep it.

I agree with other members on price. I live in Phoenix and I would never look at a car without A/C that did not work. Could be a cheap or expensive fix. You already have to deal with the negative of repaired title so get A/C fixed first.

Any documentation that shows why it has a repaired title would be good. Otherwise my first thought on a title that is not clean would be that it came from the east coast after being flooded or thrown around in a tornado.
