Practice 1 is in the books. The times look to reflect the VIR race in PWC from this season, as opposed to the times at VIR last season. There are 2 more practice sessions today and then qualifying late this evening, to where a better example of times will be set.

Not much to talk about for P2.

For fun, here are the posted member times for VIR (full course):

The Camaro GT4.R will start 10th in tomorrow's race at 2:15pm EST.

It is slated to rain in tomorrow's race. If so, I do know that Robin Liddell is very good in the rain.

They did excellent in first race since back.

Hard to believe their brave, lot of cars was losing control after rain in VIR

,but they still did well in that and was in first pole.

I didn’t get to watch the whole race, about the first 45 minutes, but it seems the rain allowed them to get the lead. They seemed to be able to cope with the rain better than most everyone else.

It seemed that most teams started on slicks (including the Rebel crew), gambling on the weather drying out quick in the race.

Heading over to Watkins Glen Saturday for the PWC event. Meeting with Lawson and the Blackdog team for a tech talk after qualifying. If you guys have any questions about the GT4.R post up and I will ask them.

Sweet!

Questions:
-What do they feel is the advantages and disadvantages of the Camaro to the other GT4 cars (im betting cornering and brakes are pros and straight-line speed is a con)?

-Favorite aspect of racing the Camaro?

-What would you change about the car (realistically)?

-What factory parts are still on the car (I know the front and rear links are)?

-What kind of changes/developments, if any, has the Camaro GT4.R gotten since it debuted in 2017?

-What’s one thing on the GT4.R that they would, if they had the chance to make happen, have on the road car?

-Is Chevy utilizing any lessons learned with the GT4.R in the road car (like they do in autocross)?
