I didn’t think the 2.0 can have the shudder issue.

I just need some guidance from this group of A8 owners.Thanks.

We have done more flushes than I care to remember here.. Im talking pallet after pallet after pallet of HP fluid.

To give you a rough idea on the probability the 2.0T with 8L45 might get shudder...
Lets just say "IF" 1 in every 10 V8's get shudder with the 8L90...
1 in every 100+ would get shudder in the 2.0 with 8L45...

Fear not with your purchase.

Don't know where those numbers came from, but I have seen a helluva lot more than any one outta ten with malfunctions. Just know what you may potentially be in for. That is all.

OFC you have seen more than 1 out of 10. Usually people don't come in to complain on a forum that their A8 is working too flawlessly. Besides, I did emphasize "IF", and its just a general idea on the rarity of the 8L45 shudder. Only GM knows the exact numbers, but global warranty claims, and real world experience are a very good indication

The 2.0 can definitely have the shudder. I've had it for 9k miles before I found a dealer that would fix it. I recently had the flush done and it's been okay so far...about 700 miles.
