Anybody here running the Cooper Zeons on the SS?

I'm running them on my SS. The COOPER ZEON RS3-G1 tires are a great improvement over the run flats!

look for a 275/35 for the front and a 285/35 on the rear, one other member has those sizes on his 1LE wheels, and I'll be using those sizes, too, but with the Comp2 A/S

How is the cornering at high speed? Mushy or crisp like the RFs. How is grip at hard pulls?

Cornering at high speed is slightly mushy than the RF's not as bad as I thought it wound be. I have not done any hard pulls but they seem to grip as well as the RF's. Wet traction is superior to the RF's hands down!

Did you mean 285/30 on the rear? Thats what i could find on duscount. But that cant work since thats the same as the stock front.
Next op is 315/35 but that would be too big right. So frustrating.

I have read that the 285/30 and 285/35 will both fit on the rear wheel of a 1LE (20x11). The pictures I have seen of the 285/30 show the sidewall stretched to a point that I probably wouldn't do it. and the 285/35 doesn't look as bad but I believe it requires relocating a wiring harness in the front of the drivers side rear wheel well, to prevent the taller tire from rubbing a hole in the wheel well and eventually damaging the wires in the loom. Bridgestone is the only company that makes an ultra high performance all season tire in a 305/30/20. Unfortunately they don't make a 285/30/20 in the same tire for the front. The 305 is on back-order right now until 11/16. When they are available, I am going to order the 305/30/20 for the rear and go with a 295/30/20 on the front. The 295 is less than 1/2" wider and .3" taller than the OEM front 285. Since the speedometer utilizes the rear tires (transmission) on our cars there shouldn't be any differences in it since the rear tires would stay the OEM size. The 295 instead of 285 in front only shows less than 1mph difference anyways. TIre is the Potenza RE980AS.

Sorry to keep posting. But after much searching, the best i can do with correct stock 1le sizes (285/30r20 and 305/30r20) would be potenza re980 in the rear and continental dws (either 06 or not depndin on price) in the front. So two different brands on the car. Cant believe one company doesnt make an all season tires for all 4 of these wheels. Crazy.

Bridgetstone makes a 285/30/20 in the RE970AS, so you could go RE980AS in the back with the RE970AS in the front, or just go with a 295/30r20 in the front like I mentioned above.

Ahhh that sounds workable at least sticking with one brand. Not interested in changing wiring lications or riding with stretched tires. Thank you

Is the Mush in the steering or just in the lean/tire road feel?

In the road feel but its not bad less harsh than the RF's. FYI the RF's almost felt like the solid front tires on my Zero turn that I replaced with air filled tires.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to share.

I typically don’t put my winter tire on until Thanksgiving so is got caught unprepared yesterday. Several inches of snow that was mostly a wet, some slush mixture on the roads. Coming home there were several areas where snow drifted over the side roads and packed to ice in 15 foot strips.

I was a little worried and contemplated working from home but I had no problem driving 70 on the highway. I lifted off the gas and coasted over the icy areas at ~45 mph. Also no problem. Anything near 60% throttle and she breaks loose.

I just passed the 1,500 break in mileage and really wanted to hit some warmer day with the stock tires - I’ve gone drag racing in December with 50 degree temps - but this year the cold seems to be here early and for the season.

I just bought the Coopers. They definitely feel different from the good years. I liked the price of the Coopers. Next time I am going to buy the Michelins.
