It's irritating. Every time I start the car I have to flip that paddle, tap Mode twice slowly to get to Track, then tap it twice quickly to get the nannies off. Every Single Time.

I should be able to lock all those settings in.

Exhaust, steering and suspension can all be set to defaults (Track, Sport, whatever) and those will over ride any setting on the mode switch. So they CAN be locked in.....

Nannies and rev match, yes, those you still need to reset every time. I personally like the rev match off as I prefer not to use it.

My exhaust is locked into Track and steering is locked into Sport, have been pretty much since I bought the car. I don't believe the suspension can be locked in, but I haven't looked in a while so I may be misremembering.

In any case, even if it can be locked in, you still have to go to Track mode to turn the nannies off, so you still have to take every step I outlined if you want rev match on and no nannies.

I would have had it working last night but it was 110 deg in the garage and just couldn't work under the dash. It will have to wait until the weekend so I can do it in the early morning when it's only 90 deg.

Looking into the mode and traction control, it could be done for those too. Wiring would mean tapping into the harnesses though. I know people don't like doing that, including myself but sometimes it's a necessary evil. lol.

I'm considering making this a commercial product if there's enough interest. I spent 17 years developing electronics / software for the import market.

As promised. I'm using "ignition" mode because it's early morning and don't want to wake the neighbors starting this thing 10 times.

I have a built in rev match with my right foot. It defaults on every time I start the car.

Why let the "guy in Detroit" drive your car any more than you have to?
It takes all the fun out of it.

To each their own.
I was doing it myself for a while, but personally I find the guy in Detroit does it a lot better and smoother than I ever will.

If you do decide to sell, I’d definitely be interested!
