Camaro ZL1 1LE Track Record at VIR with NASA
Here is a 2 lap clip of my TT session where I was able to put together a 1:57.9. Sub 2 minutes has been a goal this entire year and finally happened!

Congrats!!! Uber laptime How much power are ya putting out with your mods? And how long do the A7s last on this car?
Curious to compare longevity vs G3Rs. Thanks! |

Track club thanks man! Car currently makes 600whp so about +40-50 from stock! The A7s are great but only should be used for Timed events as they start to get real greasy after 2nd lap. They do come up to temps super fast! The R7s I was able to beat on in summer months for 20-30 minute sessions they just take a full lap or 2 to come in.
Longevity wise I only have 9 HC on A7s. I have a set of R7s with (14) 20-25 min sessions and probably have 4-6 more before fronts may cord! Seem to be about on par or slightly better then 3rs from my experience! |

Congratulations, awesome driving! May I ask what the setup of your car is. I ask, as I am planning to run my standard zl1 in TT next year and am wondering what the most effective mods are to gain laptime on a budget. cheers cirpower

Which headers are you running and do they withstand the heat generated on track?

Kooks 1 7/8 and are swainscoated. I had problems melting spark plug wires on track which were MSD. I switched to a ceramic plug wire with sleeves and has been money since!!
