SS driveshaft
Anyone make a lighter drive shaft for the 2016 SS M6?

GForce sells one for the M6. They actually have a 3.5" and a 4". I love the 3.5" that's in my car!

What other mods do you have? MY 4" Gforce shaft is "in the mail" and hopefully going in my car tomorrow. But at a stock or near stock level, I wouldn't anticipate much gain.

Being as the only other mod my car has is the GForce Outlaw axles, the car doesn't drive any different. It has definitely held up to the launches with the Hoosier slicks on my car. When I drive it on the street, I don't even notice the difference.

Does it feel like it revs a bit better now?

The driveshaft definitely saved some weight, but the axles took that up. The new axles are heavier, based on the old arm gauge. But for the added strength they provide, it's a fair trade. Especially after pretzeling the stocker. I'm more interested in getting a lighter clutch when the time comes.....especially since they typically hav more holding capacity.

Well, I guess it would depend on how you drive it. I launched my completely stock car on my 28x10-17 Hoosier slicks and snapped an axle. If a radial grabs as hard, I would assume it would do the same.
If you're drag racing the car a lot, do the axles and driveshaft for nothing more then insurance. GForce has a lifetime warranty on the axles. You can't have any more piece of mind then that!

You won't need them then. Even with sticky street tires they will never get hot enough on a public street to cause that much stress on the axle.
