Wreckless driving is vague. Are they saying you raced it? If so, copy/paste below link.

GM is completely oblivious to this and is only referring to something written up by Chevrolet in black and white! There is nothing backing this advertisement and they are quoting reckless driving from the Camaro's warranty book.

I'm fighting the fight for false advertising specifically quoting that add.

Rear End Fluid Service Notice - Build Date

In order to see if there is a pattern to the problem, someone suggested a while back to post your build date (that is if you know your build date) and current mileage. Let's try to do that in every post from here on out.

Build Date: 2/27/2016
Current Mileage: 14,800

Rear Differential Noise

Mine was built Jan 2016. Mine makes a whining noise when I first turn on a cold start. Ive read other that were built in Jan 2016 having same issue. You can look at your build date simply by opening your driver side door and look at the decal. I have an appointment Monday but they gave me the run around on the phone and said the open diff has this problem and to drive figure eights, I was like dude its a Camaro ss with limited slip, he was like oh yeah that's what I meant. OMG pissed to think I might break down at some point. only 4000 miles and it has been like this from day one but cold weather really made me take notice.

I just noticed someone added a Camaro6 poll to collect data about this issue. It is located here:

Mine is a 01/16 car. The noise was really bad. Took it to the dealership and got the fluid changed it was a little better but still there. Getting worse again.

11100 miles on my early 2016 1SS A8
Just got my car back after 3way Chevy replaced the rear diff. We will soon see if the noise comes back. My guess is that it will come back in another 5k miles.

Have this too. My build date is late Jan 2016, sorry forget the exact day. Didn't order it like most. Bought it 2/25/16 Started at about 9k miles currently 12k. Had this caused any other problems for anyone else? Curious cause mine won't hold alignment anymore, tires have worn badly, and rear pass. tire will spin easily even under mild acceleration. Oh and just had the instrumpandl replaced and outside air temp sensor. Lemon much?

It's currently 5:30 am on a Saturday morning.... and am on here. Think I'm losing sleep over it?

So I've been looking into every possible solution I can think of. This MAY BE a form of resolution to get GM to act appropriately according to their own warranty offer. Given there is a TSB out, it means GM is aware of the situation and problem. Can follow this link or even google "secret warranty".

Received my 2016 camaro SS in January, and unfortunately experiencing the rear end groan before 2500 miles. Service center finally decided to do fluid changes after multiple vists to just prove the noises. Problem persists and now told to prove it once more.

I think GM is going to try and ride this out as long as they can so people's warranties start to expire. This has been a known issue in the Vettes for quite some time and GM hasn't fixed the issue yet.
