On October 4, I am doing the SV autocross ... you'll be circling around me, if you run on Sunday. Look for my white Camaro dancing through the cones.



I'm breaking in some new tires before the two-day NMCA West autocross 10/17-18, and don't want to do too much damage to my tires on the 4th. I hope to do the track in November or December, before the track is demolished. I hope there is still a place to autocross and karting, once the short oval is built.

No kidding. Please come back, Puretrack! Autocross at Anaheim would now be my closest autocross venue, since San Diego stadium and Lake Elsinore Storm parking lots are unavailable - drive through COVID testing, I think. Shoot - there's no track or autocross for 100 miles from San Diego. Makes me think of moving, which seems like a symptom of addiction.

boo well i havent been on track since big willow in feb before my bday haha so im going to be a bit rusty gotta order some new tires after these ps4s are toast so well see what happens

I would get the 295/40/18 Falken RT660s, *if they were available.* They aren't. Neither are the Hankook RS4, which aren't as fast, but last a long time.

So, I plan to run yet another set of Nexen NFera SUR4G in 275/40/18... not a well known tire, but I've been pretty happy with it. I think I'll have them shaved form 9/32" to 6/32", to limit chunking in my camber-challenged car.
