I usually get attention when I pull into a gas station mostly because it lopes pretty good at idle. I've even had a few people ask to record it for their Facebook and Instagram. I also had my towns whole fire station crew come out and look at it while I paid my speeding ticket next door.

My 2016 SS didn't get any attention whatsoever. My 2018 SS 1LE got plenty of attention. Neither, however, get the kind of attention my current car brings; nor the same kind of company.

I would say that if mine isn't in Shock, it probably would have got less attention.

Shock looks like an aftermarket paint job to a lot of people.

That may be all true but around my world people still take notice. This morning while I was waiting for a light - a guy in a late model jacked up Chevy pickup just about twisted his head off his neck to eyeball my car while he drove through the intersection (I was the only car sitting at the light). My Hyper Blue and silver rally strip combo makes mine stand out from the crowd - so I've been told.

So I've only had the car two days basically, and it's crazy just how many people I catch staring or turning around as I drive by. I figured it would get some attention, but not nearly as much as I have seen already.

Granted, here in Cleveland you don't see too many. Plenty of Mustangs and Challengers/Chargers, so its a bit more unique I guess. Plus, just looks badness.
