DSSV maintenance/rebuild?

I asked a while back but no one really had an answer. I am wondering if anyone has come across if the DSSV’s are rebuildable? Seems if they aren’t it could be an issue given the cost of a full replacement. Looking to pick up a ZL1 and would like a 1LE as it will see a lot of track days, but if the shocks aren’t rebuildable I would probably save the money and just get a mag ride car and eventually throw some good coil overs on it that are rebuildable.

You can get a GM / Chevy OEM-backed warranty for 100K miles for the price of one of the DSSV's or so - and the DSSV's are covered under the warranty from what I read.

So does that mean they aren’t rebuildable?

Of course this is for the Colorado variant but you can read the answer directly from Multimatic. No...buy a new shock if needed.

Anything changed in the last 9 months? Wondering what everyone has done when they had issues with their dssv’s up to this point? I’d assume wants for most people but would be nice to see at some point someone third party offer rebuilds or even revalving.
